There are many reasons for a network printer fails. But you can not answer without more information. Did it work? If not, what have you done? Is this a true network printer with its own IP address? If so, you assign an address Static IP? Otherwise, assign a static address and make sure that there is an address in the DHCP pool and not already allocated.
